Along with the teeth, the facial muscles and the temporal mandibular joint are also equally important in the science of occlusion. A beautiful and healthy smile are much more then just teeth, it requires a balanced and harmonious relationship of the occlusion, facial muscles, and the temporal mandibular joint. Collectively this area of dental medicine is known as Neuromuscular Dentistry. This is a specialized area of dentistry that less then 1% of all dentists have been trained.
Dr. Cook is a general dentist who has trained in many aspects of advanced dentistry, including neuromuscular dentistry, implant surgery, endodontics, and orthodontics.
